Going back to the well and putting my proverbial bucket in and pulling out another child six months ago seemed at the time a little ho-hum to people. The most important part of Christmas for any parent is the visit to Santa and the photo. In case you haven’t noticed yet I am sentimental and enjoy smultz by the bowl full. So I like to keep family traditions going for as long as possible and the number one on this long list of traditions is the visit to Santa. It has to be at the traditional department store in the city and there has to be a day off dedicated to the event.
