My Addiction

It's common for me. I'll be sitting in front of the laptop googling all kinds of stuff relevant to parenting, trying to find something interesting that may stimulate conversation amongst the TackleNappy community on the interwebs. Tonight I'm having more trouble than normal. Perhaps it's because I'm tired (sitting up writing until 1:30am tends to do that), maybe it's because my mind is elsewhere with Kid C being generally unwell and pissed off at the world. One thing I know, the thought of eating chocolate is dominating my thoughts.

White Ribbon Day - November 25 2012

November 25 is White Ribbon Day, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. Each year on this day men and women from around the world are encouraged to pledge their support to stop violence against women. Wearing a white ribbon is a symbol of this oath.

Tacklenappy personally encourages you to visit www.whiteribbon.org.au to find out more about this campaign.

You can contribute in numerous way, but start with sharing the message via social media (click here for badges, banners...etc already designed for Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook..etc), and of course, swear the oath.

So it's time to stand side-by-side with TackleNappy and thousands of others and swear the oath.

Toot Toot

I'm sure it's an Aussie Icon, well maybe a Victorian Icon...OK, it's definitely the biggest tourist attraction in Belgrave. When I was a kid it was a big deal, you had to ride Puffing Billy because, well because Brad and Adam did and they were the coolest cats of grade one.

Our trip to the other side of the Earth

Tacklenappy was invited to Target (retail giant) Bloggers event. It was in South Yarra, so for both of us it was like a trip to another planet. We are usually accustomed to the high fashion areas of Melbourne like Watsonia, Bundoora and Greensborough.
