The TackleNappy show is back, fresh from summer holidays with an all new show...OK, a show similar to last years, but with a few new bits (the dog from next door is back too). We play a ute load of Aussie music to celebrate Australia Day.

Til Dees do us part

Let’s get something straight from the beginning of this article, Kid X barracks for Melbourne Footy Club. Yep, that’s right- Melbourne, the dees, the old red and blue. She does not barrack for Buddy, the tigers or the pies.

The Tragic Collingwood Supporter

I'm a tragic Collingwood supporter. I once stood next to Lee Walker at the urinal in Melbourne's 'The Imperial' pub and I actually thought having Ball, Dick, Cox, Goldsack, Wood and Johnson at the club at the same time was hilarious. I played 93 games off the bench for Bundoora Junior Footy Club – the club famous for producing AFL players Shane Clayton, Paul Rizonico, Cameron Doyle and Jason Croall.

C. Judd

"Don't tell me you actually watch this crap?" seems to be the response I receive when I tell people I enjoy watching the Brownlow Medal coverage. It's true. I like the round by round season recap, highlights of the great marks and goals, Cyril Rioli dancing around opponents with ease, vision of a fat guy spilling his 4x20 down the front of his T-shirt...and of course, the typical Collingwood supporter stereotype with no teeth screaming at an umpire with spittle running down his chin.

The value of the routine

Saturday, 21 August 2010 04:24 Published in Chubba's Pool Room

For most of us dad's the only routine that we have in our lives is grabbing a beer and pie at half time at the footy. Or maybe it's the proverbial shower, shit and shave (usually in that order, this is a debate for another time and place).

One of the most foreign concepts to me as a dad was that something as small as C would benefit and more importantly understand a routine. But they are just little routine machines. From the moment they get up (uncannily the same time every single day, I don't even need to set the alarm clock anymore) they want to do exactly the same thing they did the day before.
