My husband made it a priority to be connected with his children and he can't imagine life any other way.

I'm one of those women that article was referring to.. University educated and wearing an apron baking from scratch and tending to my veggie patch. Here's what they didn't mention... my husband stands right along side me when he's home.
He changes nappies. Cooks from scratch. Tends to the veggie patch. Is a whizz on the sewing machine. He might be the income earner but he's still a retro mummy.

I would find it amusing if he ever tried to be a retro daddy though.. I think I'd hit him over the head with his newspaper and throw some clothes at him that need to be put in the washing machine..
